Roots – festive day at the Židenice district

Do you love feasts? I love autumn feasts at the Southern Moravian region. It is a mixture of local tradition, religion and culture. Czech republic is rich in local costumes – and you can see the one, which is considered as one of greatest in here – ‘kyjovsky kroj’.

Today we could observe the boys building the maypole with ribbons, the young couples dancing ‘moravská beseda’ – special dance formation and enjoy nice autumn weather (maybe last sunny days this year). It was a pleasant feast.

I believe you can get some better idea through my pictures.
